Production management includes a weekly visit and thorough walk through sow unit. We review production, health, personnel, records and facility management. This service includes Sow Watch software & Farm logistics program record keeping service. We enter data for all of our management farms and utilize this data when we do our walk through and monitor every aspect of the production system from feed, daily production management, health, and farm goal achievements. We also handle Human Resource /recruitment, employee screening, farm handbooks, employee reviews, and benefit management and payroll advise. We believe in a comprehensive approach to sow farm management through being involved on a daily basis in the systems production management and have a real time reporting system to the absentee ownership.

We provide a monthly management report that covers the information and progress of our visits alongside an accrual financial management program. We handle all daily controlling of farm expenses and devises annual budgets for farm management at the highest level of professionalism in field of accounting. We collaborate with major accounting firms for tax preparation and ever changing tax guidelines in today’s modern productions systems.

We offers a comprehensive on farm training program from Farrow to Finish to insure all staff understand the goals and necessary production skills to achieve those goals as a team and better run your operation as a business.

We provide one visit per month from a licensed swine specific veterinarian included in our fee.

Wean to Finish oversight

At Zootech we  offers a full management program much like the Fattener farm oversight covering the following areas of production and management.

1. Weekly visits the first 3-weeks pigs come in the nursery or wean to finish building.
2. With no major issues, we move to 2x a month after that monitoring the sites.

Production manuals

We will design with ownership guidance a standard operating procedure manual for each site and implement production practices through our on farm services and insure ownership employees are following recommended guidelines and all farm policies.
